Hi all , so it’s been a while since we’ve updated the blog. We had our laptops stolen from us a couple weeks ago and just now got everything sorted out. If you live in a city lock your windows and watch your back cause you never know who might climb down your fire escape and take your prized possessions. With that being said, I’m glad to see we still have followers, thanks for the support and hanging in there with us.
If you happen to be living in San Francisco we will be celebrating our return to technology by playing ass shaking music at the beautiful new Cinnabar on the corner of Ellis and Jones once again. It’s free. $2 drink specials for the ladies from 9 to 10 . Let’s get weird.
Hi. My name is Daniel, I’m one of the guys running this blog. This about to be really fucking cheesy and lame so prepare yourselves. Top Hat Cult was created by my friends and I to document our times in San Francisco, but we’ve always had bigger plans for it. Top Hat Cult is an outlet where we can create on our own terms, not supervised by an employer or constricted in a classroom. This is a place where we can have fun and do what we love, which means creating videos, taking pictures, making zines and whatever else we are stoked about.
For the past couple of months we’ve been laying the groundwork to realize our larger goals, we just built our website from the ground up, here you can view all the videos we make, both the ones we make for ourselves and our professional work. Coming up at the end of this month we are going to be throwing another Top Hat Cult party, at a new location, but still in downtown San Francisco in the Tenderloin. We’ll be filling you in on more details as the show gets closer, for now all you need to know is it will be free and will be held on the 28th of this month.
But the biggest change will be how we treat this blog and our followers. We are stoked so many people are interested in what we are doing and we want to show our gratitude by making this blog more interactive, with merch, giveaways, and details about where we are taking our brand. If you like what we’ve done so far, stick with us, 2013 is about to be the year of the Top Hats.
